Covid-19 and Clinic Transitions
Dearest Community,
I hope you and yours remain healthy and well during this truly unique and confronting year.
I know from working with many of you in the clinic that we’re EACH processing added stress, personal challenges and uncertainty as Covid-19 continues to affect us all.
I also know that we’re striving to find beauty and moments of joy during our days. We’re moving forward in our lives. We’re finding new ways to connect with our loved ones. We’re considering our priorities and practicing gratitude.
Through it all, I keep coming back to this: we humans are brilliantly resilient creatures.
Personally, this year has required me to reflect and re-evaluate the way I’ve structured my life. I’ve had to reimagine the direction AND location of my business, as well as the choices I’m making as a mother of four – not only during a global pandemic, but in “normal” times, too.
It’s become increasingly clear that I need to simplify my work life and redirect more of my energy toward the wellbeing of myself and my family.
More specifically, I need to move my clinical work closer to home. So today I’m writing to share an important announcement about my business, which includes a relocation for my in-person acupuncture services:
#1 – I’ve decided to join HART Acupuncture & Nutrition, located at 192 Park Road in West Hartford.
I’ll continue to offer the same compassionate, holistic health care you’re used to – through acupuncture treatments, herbal therapy, targeted supplementation, and mind-body medicine.

#2 – I’ll be closing my Glastonbury clinic at the end of 2020.
#3 – My vision for Luna Healing Arts and my work supporting women’s empowerment and personal growth is undergoing further evolution.
I do intend to offer some online gathering spaces, workshops, and telemedicine in the future. But for now, I’m busy moving through this clinical transition with integrity and ease.
In closing, I’m excited to begin this new chapter at HART. The other staff and practitioners are wonderful – I’m thrilled to be working in community with other like-minded women again!
The space is beautifully decorated to create a peaceful and QUIET treatment experience. There is an extensive vitamin store with professional grade, natural products, all vetted by the practitioners at HART. We offer curb-side pickup for any purchases or refills. And I’ll be adding some of my favorites to the shelves very soon!
We accept all major insurance plans, and we’re currently credentialing to accept the newly announced medicare coverage for back pain diagnoses.
Regarding Covid-19: We follow CDC and state of CT guidance, as well as our professional organizations’ best practices to keep everyone safe. We require everyone who enters the clinic to wear masks and hand sanitize upon arrival. And we carefully space our treatments so that we can properly sanitize and air-purify between patients. We encourage you stay home if you feel sick, you’ve recently traveled to an identified “hot spot,” you’ve been exposed to anyone with Covid-19, or are suspected of having Covid-19 yourself.
Thank you ALL for being part of my world here at Luna Healing Arts. Some of you have been with me from the very beginning, through multiple clinic moves already. I hope you know how deep my gratitude runs for you and this opportunity to practice the medicine I love.
